The $1.35 billion Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing on Friday, January 13 went to a single ticket sold in Maine. This jackpot is the second largest in the history of Mega Millions and the fourth largest in the history of the United States.
So, the drawing on Tuesday, January 17 will be worth $20 million, and you can choose to get $10.7 million in cash instead.

Along with the winner of the grand prize, 14 other people also matched all five white balls drawn to win $1 million. These tickets were sold in California (twice), Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, New York (four times), North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

The Wolverine FLL lottery club won a $1.05 billion jackpot in March 2021. They were the last people from Michigan to win a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot. The group plans to give back to the community with the money they won.
