This morning, the official Google Pixel 3 wallpapers and the Pixel Wallpapers app, which has the new Live Wallpapers, were found online. People like that the live wallpapers have high-quality still images, but what they really want are the new Google Pixel 3 Live Wallpapers.
The few people who were able to install the leaked Live Wallpapers APK found that some of the wallpapers showed up on their Google Pixel 2’s Always on Display. However, most people can’t install it because the APK needs an Android Pie device. Now, XDA Recognized Developer Pranav Pandey has ported the Pixel 3 Live Wallpapers app so it works on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and later.
You may know Pranav Pandey from his work on Rotation – Orientation Manager or other open-source projects, but the most important thing is that he ported the Google Pixel 2 Live Wallpapers last year. He’s back at it again with a port of the Google Pixel 3’s Live Wallpapers, just hours after the wallpapers leaked online but weeks before the official announcement on October 9th!
Pixel 3xl gaming wallpapers:
There are 28 wallpapers in total, which are split into two groups called “Come Alive” and “Living Universe.” In the “Coming Alive” group, there are 5 sets of wallpapers:
- Bloom Cloud, Bloom Sky, Bloom Sunrise
- Bubble up, lemon, peach, plum.
- Burst Dusk, Burst Forest, Burst Midnight
- Groove Party, Groove Chill, and Groove After Dark
- Pixie Cobalt, Pixie Emerald, Pixie Periwinkle
- In the “Living Universe” group, there are 4 new sets of wallpapers:
Bird’s-Eye View, Light the Way, Zion National Park, Malolo Barrier Reef, Sonoran Desert Tropical Voyage, and Schwyz White Sands
As with the Google Pixel 2’s Live Wallpapers pack, these Live Wallpapers are more than just animated videos that play in the background. They could respond to music, alerts, the time of day, movement, and more. Here’s a sneak peek at the Live Wallpapers you’ll get in this port of the Pixel 3’s Pixel Wallpapers app.
Get Google Pixel 3 Live Wallpapers Port
As was already said, this is a port of the Live Wallpapers from the Pixel 3 devices that are coming out soon. The original APK only worked on official versions of Android Pie or custom ROMs, but this one should work on any ARM64 Android device running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or later. That means you can use the Google Pixel 3 Live Wallpapers if your device is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Android 7.0 Nougat, Android 7.1 Nougat, Android 8.0 Oreo, or Android 8.1 Oreo. The developer has made two different versions of the Live Wallpaper port: one for devices running Android 6.0 to Android 7.1 and another for devices running Android 8.0 to Android 8.1. This is because devices with Android 7.1 or lower can’t run the audio visualization wallpapers (Groove), but devices with Android 8.0 or higher can.
To set these live wallpapers on some Samsung, Xiaomi, and other devices, you’ll also need to get the Google Wallpapers app from the Google Play Store. From the link below, you can get it.
